Jersey Jacquard Polo
Our airy lightweight with fine tipping on the button placket, perfect for walking, going out, running and relaxing. The exceptional jersey fabric makes it possible: slightly mesh-like yet opaque, it combines the best of both worlds for a comfortable feel with ideal breathability. The hems on both sleeves and at the bottom are also decorated with our elegant tipping. Pearl white stone nut buttons on the collar of the jacquard jersey are not just a visual finish to the cream-coloured fabric - they are produced fairly, and we attach great importance to this. The stone nut is found in South America, but cannot be cultivated. Stone nuts are collected by hand and sold at the weekly market.

What is Jacquard?
Jacquard is a fabric made by a special weaving technique that incorporates complex patterns and designs into the fabric. This technique is named after its inventor, Joseph Marie Jacquard, who developed the Jacquard loom in the early 19th century. This loom made it possible to weave detailed and intricate patterns automatically by using punched cards that controlled the raising and lowering of the warp threads.
What is a jacquard jersey?
A material combined by the jacquard weaving technique and a jersey knit fabric. Jacquard works complex patterns and designs into the fabric, which is achieved through the use of a jacquard loom that can control each individual warp thread individually. Jacquard jersey is characterized by its woven patterns that are integrated directly into the fabric. These patterns can be very different, from geometric shapes to floral or abstract designs.
Jacquard jersey can be made from a variety of materials, including cotton, wool, polyester, viscose and their blends. The choice of material affects the texture, weight and care properties of the fabric.
Is jersey a good fabric?
Yes. Jersey knit fabric is known for its stretch and softness. Jersey is usually knitted using a smooth, single-ply process, resulting in a flexible and comfortable fabric.
What is Jacquard quality?
Jacquard fabrics often have a luxurious and classy feel. They can have a three-dimensional effect created by the woven patterns and offer an interesting feel. Due to the dense and stable weave, jacquard fabrics are usually long-lasting and resilient. They retain their shape and pattern even after frequent use and multiple washes.
Due to their high-quality properties, jacquard fabrics are often used in the production of clothing, home textiles (such as curtains, upholstery, tablecloths) and accessories (such as bags, scarves).
