The Open Era goes Pitti Uomo

The Open Era goes Pitti Uomo

The Open Era team is extremely excited to announce that we will be at the 2024 Pitti Uomo in Florence in January – one, if not the most important trade show for men’s ready-to-wear fashion in the world!

Coming to Florence for the first time, The Open Era brand will introduce seven new styles for A/W 25 in the Pitti Superstyling Area. In addition to our popular tennis-themed pieces, we are also diving into other territories with our brand-new rugby and British mod styles.

From blousons to zip collar sweaters and long-sleeved raglan polos, our upcoming collection will keep the Open Era promise with unique, high-quality and sustainable trends. Retro inspired, yet fit for the future. One particular highlight are our geometrical track suits and pullovers, paying a stylish homage to the era of the 60's. The soft yet durable fabric not only gives the products a pleasant texture and provides luxurious wearing comfort, it also guarantees long-lasting enjoyment whilst exuding timeless elegance. We are proud to confirm that 80% of the collection presented in Italy will be made 100% from organic cotton.

The Open Era brand is a proud antagonist of fast fashion and takes a stand against overproduction and waste. In line with minimal waste and sustainable fashion production approaches, we focus on reducing our ecological footprint at all times, not just in terms of manufacturing, but also within our own processes, from design to carbon offsetting for package deliveries.

The winter edition of Pitti Uomo, the 105th, will be held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 9 to 12 January 2024. Given the current international context, the event is confirmed as an essential point of reference for designers, buyers and press. And the Superstyling Area in particular is being highlighted as a quest for new style canons that anticipate trends. Aesthetic choices that go beyond the usual, supported by sartorial skills and a constantly changing outlook that can detect new identities and respond to today’s multiple expressive needs. We are honoured to have been chosen to exhibit amongst extremely creative and groundbreaking labels.
